Where are our photos delivered?
It depends on the package. Most sessions are delivered within three weeks of the session date, and modeling and editorial are delivered within 6-8 weeks. The post-post-product timeline depends on each session's requirements. There's a rush process fee if you require the images to be completed before our standard delivery time.
This depends on several different factors, but I usually deliver at least 20 photos for every hour of shooting. I won’t withhold anything I think you’ll love!
No, I do light retouching on images delivered. Detailed retouching is ordered after the online gallery is delivered. Light editing involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black-and-white processing, clarity adjustments, tone mapping, and other corrections. Clients may ask for specific retouching.
Yes. You may pay for additional images—the cost is $10 per additional photo of your choice or purchase your gallery at $150 - $375 a la carte, depending on the number of images in your final gallery.
I'm based in San Francisco, California. Locations over a 20-mile radius of San Francisco will charge a travel fee of $20 - $50+ (Depending on the area).
I require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure the session date and cover the initial planning. The rest of the payment is before or due on your session day.
If you want to set up a payment plan, let me know, and I’m more than happy to figure something out!
No way! One of the reasons to hire a photographer in the first place is so that they can help make you comfortable in front of the camera and give you directions so you feel safe. I like to play many games, ask questions, and guide you into flattering poses so you don't have to worry. If you're nervous or want to go beyond posing, I HIGHLY recommend planning a fun activity rather than just picking a backdrop to capture an experience. I try to implement a flow that's slightly more documentary style and a respectful paparazzi approach outside of portrait times, but I will move you into areas with the best light if I have the chance.
Absolutely, you can. Don't hesitate to contact me, and I can create a package to fit your needs. An additional hour is $200 per photo session (with additional images)
I understand that you would like to receive the unedited photos, but I usually do not provide them. As a photographer, my aim is to deliver a final product that showcases the full potential of the images. Non-edited (RAW) photos will not be provided. Non-edited images are not the final product I produce and they do not help my unique abilities as an artist. This approach enables me to deliver a seamless and refined final product that not only meets but exceeds your expectations.
I am best at responding to text messages and tend to answer them within 8 hours. Email is a great way to get in touch with me both before and after you book. You should expect an email response from me within 2-3 business days of sending that email most of the time. Quick phone calls are the best for when you need my immediate response.
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. I eliminate images that feel like duplicates.
Your photos are available via Pixieset in a password-protected gallery. An online store will be available to order prints for personal use. These files may not be used for profit, contests, or competition and may not be altered in any way without the written consent of Abigail Sylvester Photography.
